Take part in a listening experiment

30 people are wanted to participate in a music listening experiment. The study I’m conducting is about music and emotion. The experiment itself is very easy: you will played back some music clips and asked to rate their emotional content.

However, the experiment has one particularity: it is done in two parts. This means that those who want to participate should be able to come twice. Each part takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Every participant who completes the two parts of the experiment will be rewarded with a cinema ticket!

The experiment will take place at the University of Jyväskylä in the M building (Musica), room M319. It is the computer class room located on the 3rd floor (Finnish way of counting), after you’ve entered the library.

In order to participate, please go to the following page and select one morning session and one afternoon session:

READ CAREFULLY:
You have to do the experiment once in the morning (9:00) and once in the afternoon (16:00). It can be on the same day or on two different days. The order also doesn’t matter, meaning you can start either with a morning session or with an afternoon session.

If you are participating, please try not to be late! There will be other people coming too, and the idea is to start at the same time.
